Loving God, your neighbour, yourself, your enemy

 

The world seems to be increasingly polarised, with relationships characterised by animosity and divisiveness even in the church and mission.

How do we embrace and foster authentically loving and sacrificial relationships in our teams and communities?

Our Bible studies in Romans 12 will inform our thinking on crucial relationships such as team, church, family, agency, spouse, nationals, persecutors, leaders and God as we see to share the gospel with others not only in what we do and say, but in who we are and how we live.

We’re delighted to announce that our Bible readings will be led by Jonathan Ward of Pierres Vivantes, and that our plenary speakers include:

Harry Hoffman (Global Member Care Network) on Loving God

Mihai Lundell (OCI) on Loving Your Neighbour

Dorcas Harbin (One Another Ministries International) on Loving Yourself

Ian Orton (TearFund) on Loving Your Enemy

In a change from our previous practice we are significantly increasing the number of workshops and among our confirmed workshop leaders are: Mathilde Companjen, Alex Galloway, John Harris, Tim Herbert, Marion Knell, Margreet Korstanje, Tammy Lundell, Neil Mason, Rafael Nastase, Christian Quartier, Maryann Richard, Gisela Roth, Annemieke Van den Berg, and Amrei Wehmeyer.
