Online training for refugee workers (UK)

Amidst the recent increased awareness of the plight of refugees and asylum seekers from places such as Syria, Afghanistan and South Sudan, thousands have responded to the call of providing love, support and practical assistance. But face-to-face with intense trauma and dependency, how do we build resilience in those working with refugees?

Redcliffe’s Refugee Worker Online Training aims to provide an opportunity to consider those working with refugees, as well as the refugees themselves, and offers vital tools for ensuring that your team remain healthy and able to respond to the needs of those they serve.

Le Rucher Debriefing Model Retreat

At A Lodging Place Cyprus
A five day Le Rucher debriefing model retreat will be held in Cyprus. This retreat will be led by Sarah Lanier, (author of Foreign to Familiar, a Guide to Hot and Cold Climate cultures).
Each team member is certified by Le Rucher, France. The team members work in Member Care with various organizations. The Le Rucher debriefing model provides a way for cross cultural workers to process and ‘unpack’ their time on the field, either between assignments, or transitioning off the field. Much ‘baggage’ is often gathered through the stresses of cross cultural and team dynamics. With individual debriefers, each person has in the context of other cross-cultural workers, a way to bring closure to various seasons of ministry so they are more fully ready for the next.
When: October 13-18, 2019
Where: Kalavasos, Cyprus (30 minutes from the Larnaca International Airport)
Cost: 400 Euros per person (A limited number of partial scholarships are available for those who cannot afford the full cost)
